[WGO] State of the Charts: Now v. Miley v. Keri

This week's album chart is going to be a bit more fiercely competitive than it has been with many many many debuts attempting to shake up a relatively static Top 20. Thanks to Hits Daily Double Magazine, we can begin to make predictions before the stats become official on Wednesday night.

As of right now, Hits is reporting that sales recipts are 36.2% counted (a little more than a 1/3 counted). This is what they are currently reporting, for those of you who are waiting on bated breath where Miley Cyrus and Keri Hilson are expected to rank...

1. Now, That's What I Call Music 30 (almost 80K) (debut)
2. Hannah Montana: The Movie (almost 44K) (debut)
3. Twilight (40K)
4. Keri Hilson, In A Perfect World (32.5K) (debut)
5. Taylor Swift, Fearless (almost 21K)
6. Kelly Clarkson, All I Ever Wanted (19K)
7. Nickelback, Dark Horse (18K)
8. Lady Gaga, The Fame (17.5K)
9. Martina McBride, Shine (almost 17K) (debut)
10. John Rich, Son of A Preacher Man (16K) (debut)
11. Papa Roach, Metamorphosis (almost 15K) (debut)
12. Pearl Jam, Ten (Re-Release) (13.5K) (debut)
13. The-Dream, Love V Money (12.5K)
14. Eric Church, Carolina (almost 12.5K) (debut)
15. Slim Thug, Boss of All Bosses (almost 11.5K) (debut)
16. Jim Jones, Prey for Reign (almost 11K) (debut)
17. Jamie Foxx, Intuition (almost 10.5K)
18. Blue October, Approaching Normal (10.3K) (debut)
19. U2, No Line On the Horizon (10K)
20. Zac Brown Band (9K)

Anything can happen between now and Wednesday, however, Keri Hilson is predicted to possibly steal the #3 spot with projected 80-85K copies sold. Miley is expected to hold down the #2 position, with an expected 125-130K, while Now 30 is forecasted to be the winner of this week's sales race with a projected 135-140K. Pearl Jam is expected to land between Twilight at #4 and Kelly Clarkson at #6. Papa Roach is expected to outsell Martina McBride, as well.

Upcoming albums set to be released TOMORROW:
-Bow Wow
-Flo Rida

I'm predicting Flo Rida will debut in the Top 5 next week, while Bow may debut in the Top 10...possibly deeper down in the #15-17 area. Given the smaller number of titles needed to be moved to get a Top 10 debut, it is highly possible...

Upcoming albums set to be released next Tuesday, 4/7:
-Billy Ray Cyrus
-Ciara
-Mims
-Jesse McCartney (re-release)
-Rascal Flatts

Upcoming albums set to be released Tuesday 4/14:
-Day26
