November 24th seems to be a downer of a day. Today in 2001, Melody Thornton, the voice behind dance group La Bouche passed away in a plane crash. Today in 1991, both KISS drummer Eric Carr, and Queen frontman Freddie Mercury passed away from cancer and AIDS, respectively. Today in 1985, Big Joe Turner, who brought us “Shake Rattle and Roll”, passed away as well.
