HEAR THIS: Earworm Goes "Boom"

Another year done, another DJ Earworm year-end "United State of Pop" mashup to fool with. Like most of his more recent mashup gems, it's a bit of a grower. I'm pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of Foster the People (it's whistled bits blend quite nicely with the whistled bits of Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera's "Moves Like Jagger" and OneRepublic's "Good Life"), along with a few others. There is absolutely no question that the shining highlight was Adele's snippet in the bridge. I'm a bit peeved that her contributions took a backlight in terms of "airtime" to the likes of Katy Perry and Britney Spears. I thought it was pretty much agreed upon that 2011 was Adele's year, no?
