Shopaholics <3 Music, Especially Rihanna

Disney's brainchild Hollywood Records will release the soundtrack to the upcoming film "Confessions of A Shopaholic" (starring "Wedding Crashers" Isla Fisher, pictured, out on February 13th) on February 10th, and it is chock full of new...ish music that tends to keep leaking. However it does answer a few questions that I had.

A Rihanna track entitled "Bad Girl" is included (not to be confused with the underrated Danity Kane track), which also features her possible fiancee(?) Chris Brown, and the song leaked last week thanks to various blogs. If you look hard enough, you'll probably find it. It's not half bad of a track, and sounds very very Rihanna, mixed up with Beyonce's "Ring the Alarm" with all of her background yelling of "I got a problem", "I need you to solve it." The weirdest bit of the track is in Chris Brown's feature, as he is semi-rapping. Yes, you read that correct. Strange indeed.

This helps clear up my question of whether or not this was Rihanna's next single, seeing as she hasn't released a new song in a week. (I kid, I kid.) It's good to know this is just a soundtrack cut, because although its fun to listen to, its definitely not first single worthy. Besides, "Rehab" is my favorite cut from Good Girl Gone Bad, and isn't getting the chance to percalate the way it should, seeing as I've rarely seen Rihanna promote it. It's a Timbaland track co-written by Justin Timberlake for crying out loud. It should be getting more attention than that "Shut Up and Drive" did. Grrrr.

The soundtrack will also feature new music from Girlicious (they are better than the seem, I promise, however this suspected cover of "Big Spender" makes me a little bit ashamed), Lady Gaga, Chris Brown and Natasha Bedingfield.

It's rare that I get excited about movie soundtracks these days, so I hope this one doesn't disappoint.

Amazon lists the full track listing as follows:

1. Big Spender (Girlicious)
2. Again (Natasha Bedingfield)
3. Uncontrollable (Adrienne)
4. Don't Forget Me (Macy Gray)
5. Stuck With Each Other (Akon & Shontelle)
6. Fashion (Lady Gaga)
7. Accessory (Jordin Taylor)
8. Music In the Sun (Rihanna)
9. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Greg Laswell)
10. I Would Do Anything For You (Rick Ocasek)
11. Bad Girl (Rihanna)
12. Take Time To Love (Chris Brown)
